2020 Q1 sales are in and the numbers are not looking good.

COVID-19 cuts the automotive industry deep. Coronavirus has led auto sales down across the board. Production hits and vehicle assembly plants being closed have left the industry down.

Best Sellers

The Ford F-Series remains the number one best seller with 186,562 units sold in Q1. This quarter they sold 20% less than in 2019 Q4 and are down 13% when compared to last year. The Chevrolet Silverado saw a 27% gain compared to last year but is down 11% to last quarter. The biggest drop in sales in this list would be the Nissan Rogue with a loss of 36%.

Car and sedans sales have seen a steep decline for a while now, but this quarter, we see a 24% drop in sales while SUVs suffer a still significant 14% drop. Surprisingly pickup trucks have made a modest segment gain of 2%.
